Gabriel Murgu

Gabriel Murgu is Growth and Operations Lead at Qubitera. He looks after investor relations and reporting, contracts and company structure, grant applications, and the internal systems the research team runs on.

His background runs across sustainability, marketing and partnerships. He has worked in sustainable tourism, including running his own travel company in Romania, and in digital marketing, and has spent most of his career on the connecting side of things: getting the right people in a room and keeping the relationship going afterwards.

He also works on marketing and partnerships at Cambridge Forum, which brings technologists, academics and policy-makers together around applied AI.

Outside work: long walks, climbing, Formula 1, Italy, red wine, classical music. Not in that order.
