Henry Sheehy is a Quantum Researcher at Qubitera, where he investigates the potential advantages of quantum algorithms for applications in climate science, energy, and finance. His work focuses on developing, implementing, and benchmarking quantum algorithms to evaluate their performance and accuracy on quantum computing hardware.

He completed his PhD on Time-Reversal Symmetry Breaking in Unconventional Superconductors, exploring the fundamental symmetries and emergent phenomena that govern complex quantum systems.

His research interests include unconventional superconductivity, emergence, symmetry breaking, computational physics, quantum algorithms, and the intersection of artificial intelligence with scientific discovery.

Outside of Qubitera, Henry trains in karate and swimming. He has also developed platforms for scientific collaboration and education, and enjoys communicating complex scientific ideas to a broad audience.

Henry is passionate about translating deep theoretical concepts into practical technologies, helping bridge the gap between fundamental physics and the next generation of quantum computing.
