Josh is a Quantum Algorithms and Climate Researcher at Qubitera, leading the development of quantum computational methods for complex modelling challenges. He holds an MSci in Quantitative Climate and Environmental Sciences and a BA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. His work combines applied mathematics, computational science, and quantum technologies to develop practical solutions for scientific and commercial problems.

At Qubitera, Josh develops quantum algorithms for climate and financial applications, translating complex mathematical models into scalable computational frameworks. Alongside his research, he supervises Quantitative Environmental Science students at the University of Cambridge, combining technical expertise with a passion for communicating complex ideas clearly.

Outside of work, Josh volunteers in outdoor education, enjoys hiking and climbing, and is passionate about sharing science and fostering curiosity about the natural world.
